SUBMISSIONS
Other Poetry is open to submissions of original poetry year-round. There are no restrictions on subject matter, theme, length or style, but it is suggested that no more than 6 poems be submitted at one time. Work for consideration should be typed on standard A4 paper, bearing the author's name and address on each sheet, and be accompanied by an appropriately-stamped self-addressed envelope (or an adequate number of international reply coupons or dollar bills to cover return postage). It should be sent to the following address:

Alternatively, submissions can be e-mailed to James Roderick Burns at the following address:
Poems pasted into the body of the message are acceptable. However, as all poems are subjected to a multi-layered editorial process, it is not possible to furnish a decision on electronically-submitted poems any more quickly than for those posted to the magazine. (Decisions on work are generally made within six weeks of initial submission.)
