SUBMISSIONS

Other Poetry is open to submissions year round, except for two week-long periods in March and September, which will be signalled by out of office responses to the editorial e-mail address. There are no restrictions on form, style or subject matter.

The poems must be pasted into the body of an e-mail. Submissions with attachments will be deleted, and no acknowledgement given. We're happy to hear about other publications and accomplishments, but no bio or mailing address is necessary at the submission stage.

We strongly prefer electronic submissions, but if it is impossible for you to submit by e-mail, submissions can be sent to:

Please include a live e-mail address for response; no postal correspondence will be entered into, and no SAE is needed.

The editors meet on a quarterly basis, and will make a decision on your work within three months of submission. As submissions can occasionally go astray, if you have not heard from us by e-mail please query on the above address from the beginning of the fourth month after submission.

Other Poetry receives a large volume of work (in the region of 7000 poems per year, of which we are able to publish around 150). Please don't submit more than twice per calendar year, or within six months of any editorial decision.
